Through Bible Stories, songs, storytelling, and activities, kids will encounter clear and compelling Gospel themes. Join our hosts, Ben and Noah, as they teach listeners about Jesus and His love for us!
Sharing the Message Beyond the Sanctuary
Digital and print resources that extend the Christmas proclamation into homes, communities, and places where people may not otherwise encounter the Gospel.
Holy Week Special
Jesus Christ, He can only be one of two things. Either He’s a liar and a demon from hell, a blasphemer under God’s judgment, or the Lord of life, calling you to trust Him, receive His sacrifice on your behalf, take up your cross in love for your neighbor, and follow Him.
This special programming for Holy Week includes dramatic multi-voice readings of the account of the betrayal, death, and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth as recorded in Matthew 26-28, one of the four ancient biographies of Jesus. Rev. Dr. Michael Zeigler and Mark Eischer reflect on the unique features of Matthew’s account of history. Part 1 focuses on the events of Holy Thursday, part 2 on the events of Good Friday and the resurrection. These specials invite listeners into the Passion of Jesus, prompting them to consider the questions: Who is this Jesus? And why does He matter?
Tears of Hope
Tears of Hope is a special presentation of The Lutheran Hour®. Hosted by Rev. Dr. Michael Zeigler, Speaker of The Lutheran Hour, this radio drama is based on an episode of This is the Life. Taking the visual storyline written for the 1950s and giving it a modern twist for radio was entrusted to writer, Andréa Vasilo.
The excitement and anticipation for the annual camping trip with Dad ends with a devastating turn of events. Broken and blaming himself, Luke questions how a good and gracious God could allow such tragedy to strike. An unexpected voice helps remind Luke of hope eternal.
Free and Accessible Seasonal Materials
Many of our Easter resources are available at no cost and in digital formats, making them easy to share and use wherever they are needed.
